NOVEMBER
Glandys Cara Mel is sold to Bremen. The Reimann family, Hohnhorst Stud, decided to complete their quality lot of broodmares. We are very happy that Cara Mel got such a perfect place, sure that she will fulfill all ambitious expectations.

Southern Connemara Pony Show

Glandys Rocking Mary wins the class of the 1-2year old fillies and the Junior Championchip. Joanna MacInnes from England judged this years Southern Show.
We are very happy with the result, for Mary (daughter of the showwinners of 2005) is going to complete our lot of broodmares

AUGUST
Northern Connemara Pony Show

Glandys Rocking Mallow had her first appearance at the "Verdiana" near Bremen. Clive Evans from Ireland was the judge. Mallow was second best in the class of the two year old fillies and finally got the title Reserve Junior Champion. Congratulations to her owner Jan Hendricks from Sunshine Stud.

JULI
We visited Molly in Zwitzerland. She has a perfect home and a nice colt foal named "Inci" by Thiergartenhofs Dun Iltschi. Again, Veronika had the pleasure ride Molly.We are looking forward to have the Fishbachers in Germany for a visit.

Glandys Misty Caera, Carleens yearling filly by Penancingbrook Hazy Marschall, is sold to Austria. We are very happy, that the Ortbauer family bought her, for she is the second Glandys Connemara Pony they have at home, now. She is the perfect company for Glandys Dun Mearog.

The next foal is born. Carleens filly is a palomino, we are very surprised. This is something special and we are very happy with this very nice foal. Finding the perfect name, did not cause a problem!

The first foal is born. Moyra got her colt during the afternoon in the fields with audience. The small dun is called Iollan.

january - march
The year 2009 didn't have a good start in Englpolding: Cáit was heavily injured, so she has had to stay in the box for several weeks now. We had big hopes for Cáit, since she is one of the best offspring we produced; now we just hope to save her, so that she can walk without pain at some stage. Due to a heavy pelvis fracture she cannot move for at least 3 months. By now she has more or less adjusted to the situation, and we are happy that it's still winter, which means the other ponies keep her company, as they cannot go out on the meadow.
Our foals developed well and became quite big.
Moyra and Carleen are supposed to have two dun fillies by Thiergartenhofs Dun Iltschi this year. We are very excited,
Besides our dog Trine, another guardian joined the family. Pelle came to us in the beginning of December and she keeps everyone busy. Poor Trine, who is quite old in comparison to the puppy, found herself with a second wind and is busy playing with her until she has had enough.
Mabel was already covered by Penancing Brook Hazy Marschall.
